¡Hi, I'm Natalia!
I was born in Cali, but from a young age, my life became a story of suitcases. I studied in Buenos Aires and Milan, and along the way, I lived in eleven different spaces — all small, all with their own character, all teaching me something no design book fully explains: a space doesn't need to be big to feel complete. It just needs to be made for you.
That's where my obsession with color was born. Not as decoration, but as a tool — the fastest way to make a place stop feeling borrowed and start feeling like yours.
Today I lead Flórez Atelier, a studio where every project starts with the same question: what does this space need to bloom? I work with clients in Colombia, the United States, and Europe, helping them see beyond the size of their space — and discover everything that space can become.
My Approach
Before we talk about colors or furniture, I want to know what makes you feel at home. What color have you always wanted to use but never dared to? Is there a place, a memory, a moment you'd want your space to bring back every time you walk in?
Those questions might seem far from interior design, but that's exactly where the real work begins. I think about spaces holistically: how they look, yes, but more importantly, how they feel to live in. Eleven moves taught me that it's not about having more square footage — it's about making every square foot work for you. Color and function go hand in hand — one without the other isn't enough.
We'll work within your constraints. But first, we dream a little.
